These terms apply to this website and to plumbing service booked through our phone line. By using the site or booking service, you agree to them. Updated October 2026.
About This Website
This site gives general information about plumbing services in Lawrence, MA and nearby towns. It is not a substitute for an inspection, a diagnosis or advice tailored to your building.
Service descriptions, guides and local facts are provided for general information. Rules and conditions can change, so confirm anything important with the local authority.
Booking Service by Phone
Service starts with a call to our dispatch line, open 24/7. Calls to our line may be recorded for quality and training purposes.
A call is a request, not a contract for a fixed time. We offer same-day appointments when available, and we do not promise arrival times, because traffic, weather and call volume vary.
Pricing and Payment
You receive a clear price before work starts. Work begins only after you approve it. If the plumber finds a different problem during the job, the plumber will explain it and give you a revised price before more work is done.
Payment terms are explained when the price is given. Permit fees, if any, are explained at that time.
Cancellations and Access to Your Property
If you need to cancel or move an appointment, call the dispatch line as early as you can so the schedule can be adjusted. Please tell us if the plan changes before the plumber reaches your address.
You agree that a responsible adult will be present or that you have arranged access to the property, including the water shutoff, the water heater and any area where the work is needed. If safe access is not possible, the plumber may need to reschedule.
Licensing, Permits and Access
Our plumbers are licensed and insured. You can verify any plumber in the state's eLIPSE system. Plumbing and gas fitting work that is replaced or repaired needs a permit from the local inspector, and you agree to give the access needed to complete permitted work.
If you rent, you confirm you have the owner's or landlord's permission for the work, or that the owner or landlord authorizes it.
Your Responsibilities
Please tell us about hazards you know of, such as a gas smell, standing water near electrical equipment, or damaged ceilings. Keep children and pets away from the work area.
If you ask for work that cannot be done safely or legally, the plumber may decline it and explain why.
Emergencies and Safety
If anyone is in danger, call 911. If you smell gas, leave the building, call 911 from outside and call your gas utility before calling us.
Our line is not a substitute for emergency services.
Limits of Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for damage that existed before our visit, for hidden conditions that could not reasonably be seen, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Massachusetts law.
Website content is provided as is, and we make no promise that every page will always be available or error free.
Links, Disputes and Changes
Third-party links and embedded maps are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We may update them, and the date above will change when we do. Questions go to contact@247plumberlawrencema.com.
